The whole thing started as a joke on Reddit where a user posted a reddit post which was edited like Elon Musk is about to buy Fortnite and delete it.
Later Elon Musk tweeted about that joke as well and it was very funny at the moment. But for a lot of people who are not keeping up with the jokes and simply see some tweets like those start thinking and get worried if the whole thing is actually going to happen.
