So, I just caught Rick and Morty Season 9, Episode 5 titled "Jer Bud," and honestly, it left me feeling underwhelmed. While I usually dig the callbacks to earlier seasons, this time it felt like they missed the mark with Snowball’s return. The Morty/Snowball storyline was bland and didn’t pack the humor punch we expect from the show. However, the subplot with Jerry and the Worms was a delightful distraction, showcasing a quirky side of him that was a lot of fun. It’s a mixed bag for sure, but I’m holding out hope for the remaining episodes to pick up the slack!
