So, Valve decided to throw us a bone, and now you can install SteamOS on any PC, provided you’ve got an AMD GPU. I mean, I’m all for Valve helping us DIY our own Steam Machines, but I can already hear our Nvidia buddies grumbling in the corner. "Linux? SteamOS? That sounds like a series of unfortunate events!" It's like inviting your friend to a party where the only drink is that weird homemade soda nobody asked for. But hey, at least now the AMD fan club can finally stop waiting and actually embrace their inner Linux hipster! Meanwhile, I’ll just be over here with my RTX 4080, twiddling my thumbs and wondering if Valve ever plans to acknowledge us green guys… or if we’re destined to be the sad, neglected gamers at the edge of the LAN party.
