Crazy Tiny Notepad App Made By Ex-MS Dev!
0
Hey guys, just saw something super cool that honestly blew my mind a bit. A former Microsoft coder managed to recreate the classic Notepad, but get this, it’s only 2,686 bytes in size! That’s ridiculously tiny, like smaller than some old Atari games, compared to the huge modern version. He did it by cleverly leveraging existing Windows components and some hardcore compression tools. It really makes you wonder about all the bloat in software these days, even for something simple. Imagine if game developers applied this kind of optimization; our games could be so much more efficient and maybe run better on all kinds of systems! Definitely a masterclass in coding efficiency.
