Apparently, a petition called 'Don't Kill the Disc' has already hit over 111,000 signatures in just four days, which is pretty wild. This whole thing started because Sony announced they're planning to stop releasing new PlayStation games on physical discs by 2028. A lot of gamers are really upset, saying physical copies are super important for various reasons, and I totally get it. Honestly, there's just something different about owning a physical game, and it would be a shame to see them completely disappear. Hopefully, this huge response makes them reconsider!
