Hey guys, saw some news about the upcoming Sword Art Online game, Echoes of Aincrad. It's an anime souls-like that apparently had a popular demo during the last Steam Next Fest, and it's launching soon for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. What's kinda amusing (or annoying for us PC folks) is that while console players get the option to preload the game, PC players on Steam are completely out of luck and will have to wait for the actual launch time to download it. So much for our 'master race' bragging rights and often questionable internet speeds, huh? Guess we'll be staring at that download bar for a while early on Friday morning here, probably while console players are already deep into Aincrad. Typical Bandai Namco shenanigans!
