Steam Refund Policy Under Fire!
0
So, it seems like indie dev Mateo Covic just stirred the pot with his thoughts on Steam's refund policy after a wave of refunds for his game, Paddle Paddle Paddle. He expressed his frustration over players who completed his game and then bragged about refunding it—claiming it's just wrong to do that after enjoying the experience. I completely get where he's coming from; it can be disheartening when gamers take advantage of such loopholes. However, it also raises questions about how we value short, yet impactful gaming experiences. What do you all think? Is it fair to expect players to keep games they enjoyed just because they finished them?
