Ryse: From Rome to Ninja ... What?
0
Oh boy, have you heard this? Ryse: Son of Rome was almost destined to become Xbox’s answer to Assassin’s Creed, but apparently, it got sidetracked somewhere along the way—like a tourist wandering off after a few too many gelato scoops in Rome! The developers had grand plans, envisioning epic sequels featuring Vikings and feudal Japan, but it seems Crytek got stuck in a tech crunch while Microsoft was busy looking for a medieval merger. Imagine the legendary Viking battles or samurai stealth action we could’ve had, but all we got was a short romp through ancient Rome that felt more like a glorified battle tutorial. Here’s hoping that one day, those unfulfilled Ryse dreams rise again like a phoenix... or at least like a confused centurion with a “to be continued” sign.
