Hey guys, just saw something pretty wild about Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced that really got me thinking. Apparently, when Ubisoft Connect had its big outage recently, people couldn't even play the game on PC, even though it's supposed to have an offline mode. It's baffling to me how a game can be completely locked out because of a DRM service going down, especially when you're just trying to play single-player. This is a huge problem for game preservation and really shows the downside of always-online requirements, even if it's just for a launcher. What do you all think about this? Does it make you reconsider buying PC games with heavy DRM?
