This isn't just for some specific cards, but impacting both GDDR6 and GDDR7, meaning pretty much everything from existing cards to the upcoming RTX 50-series is going to feel the pinch. Forget waiting for prices to drop, because distributors are already reportedly in a panic mode, unwilling to sell because they know the hike is coming. Looks like that dream PC build just became an even more distant fantasy, or maybe it's time to learn how to play games on a potato.
