Hey everyone, big news for Deadlock players! Valve has finally rolled out a proper ranked mode for the game, completely overhauling the matchmaking system. Now, you'll need to qualify by winning 15 matches on at least three different heroes before you can even queue for the new 11-tier ranked system. While it sounds promising for more balanced matches, Valve has warned us to expect things to be quite 'rocky' for the first few weeks, with potential bugs and longer queue times as the system settles. Personally, I think the qualification step is a great idea to ensure dedicated players are in ranked, even if the initial period might be a bit rough, and it's an exciting step towards a more competitive experience and hopefully an open beta soon.
