Is Ill Pushing Horror Boundaries Too Far?
0
So, Team Clout just dropped a wild trailer for their horror game, Ill, which features some seriously graphic and brutal scenes, including a zombie baby's skull being crushed. The director insists that it's not just gore for the sake of shock value; they claim there’s a story behind it and they're trying to reignite those raw emotions we feel in horror games. Honestly, I wonder if that’s a stretch. I’m all for pushing boundaries in gaming, but it seems they might be overlooking the fact that not everyone wants to get their horror fix served with such extreme visuals. For someone like me, who isn’t a fan of gore, it's hard to see past the gruesome imagery to appreciate whatever narrative they have in mind. Still, I can't help but admit there's a bizarre curiosity tugging at me to check it out when it releases in 2027. What do you guys think?
