I just read that a Sea of Thieves movie is in the works, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty optimistic about it! Unlike the upcoming Call of Duty film, which feels like just another military flick, Sea of Thieves has this vast, open-ended world that can translate so well into a cinematic experience. The idea of focusing on the player’s journey and the cooperative spirit of the community is intriguing and could lead to some really creative storytelling. I agree that an animated approach a la Pixar could capture the whimsical pirate vibes perfectly. It’s all so early right now, but as a fan of the game, I’m definitely on board and curious to see where they take it!
