Guys, massive news for all Valorant and LoL players – Riot is FINALLY changing how Vanguard works, and I am hyped! No more always-on kernel-level anti-cheat running in the background from boot-up; now it'll only activate when you're actually playing a game and then shut down. This is a HUGE relief for so many of us who were worried about the privacy and constant resource usage, especially since other games like CoD already do this. Apparently, it requires some modern Windows security features like Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 to be enabled, but that's a small price to pay for this peace of mind. Seriously, I can't wait for this update to drop; my PC (and my paranoia) will thank me!
