Hey everyone, big news for fans of the Payday series! Payday 2 is getting a massive engine upgrade, which will not only improve performance but also cut the game's install size down from 86GB to just 32GB. This overhaul is focused on moving to a 64-bit architecture and upgrading to DirectX 11, which should finally eliminate those pesky out-of-memory crashes we've all encountered over the years. What's cool is that there's going to be an open beta starting June 30, so we can all check out the improvements for ourselves! Personally, I love Payday 2, and this upgrade might just reignite my interest in the game, especially since Payday 3 hasn’t quite hit the mark yet. Let me know your thoughts!
