Just saw the news that Capcom is releasing Onimusha: Way of the Sword three weeks early, now set for September 4 instead of the 25th. This is quite a strategic move since it’ll only be competing against Rebel Wolves’ debut game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, rather than the previously scheduled heavyweights like Silent Hill: Townfall. I honestly expected this reboot to fly under the radar, but it seems to be creating quite a buzz, even catching the eye of critics at events like the Summer Game Fest. The early adoption bonus for pre-orders is a nice touch too! I’m excited to give this reboot a try and see if it lives up to the hype against a new IP!
