Guys, I just saw some INSANE news amidst all the depressing layoff stuff coming out of Xbox! Arkane Lyon, the legends behind Deathloop and Dishonored, might actually be saved from the axe thanks to French labor laws! Instead of being shut down like other studios, it seems they're entering negotiations for a potential 'indie exit' or sale, which means they could become an independent studio again. This is HUGE for the immersive sim genre and a glimmer of HOPE in all this chaos – imagine an Arkane free to make whatever they want! While it's sad about the layoffs overall, knowing Arkane Lyon has a chance to survive and thrive on their own is just incredible, and I'm sending all my energy for a positive outcome, especially for the Blade game!
