So, it seems the folks at Xbox decided their accessibility team needed a “reset” too, and by reset, I mean they pulled out the corporate axe and decided to take out the very people who were championing inclusivity! Yesterday's 1,600 layoffs are shaking up the very foundations of Xbox's laudable accessibility initiatives. I guess when they say "accessibility remains a priority," they’re referring to the importance of making their layoffs easy to understand! Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! If they want to reach that billion-player goal, they could start by keeping the people who help others actually play their games. I mean, who's going to program the next "Adaptive Controller 2.0" if they keep downsizing the team? Let's just hope they're not taking "let's make gaming for everyone" a bit too literally!
