So, check this out, gamers! Santa Monica Studio just confirmed something kinda wild about God of War Laufey. Apparently, they've officially stated the game WILL be available on a physical disc. Now, considering Sony is reportedly pulling the plug on new physical game production by early 2028, this "confirmation" is basically their indirect way of telling us the game has to drop sometime in 2027. It's hilarious, isn't it? We're celebrating a game getting a disc like it's a groundbreaking feature, when really it's just a last-minute sprint before discs become relics for new games. Guess we should start stockpiling our favorite physical copies before everything becomes a "code in a box" like some other big titles!
