Heard some genuinely exciting news for Silent Hill fans, especially those who remember Downpour. Apparently, a dedicated fan known as Indie_RU is developing a full PC native port of the game, which was originally a PS3/Xbox 360 exclusive and tough to play now. Beyond just technical upgrades like higher resolutions and uncapped framerates, this port is restoring significant cut content, including a deleted boss battle with the 'Monocle Man,' extra weapons like the Bogeyman's hammer, and numerous other cutscenes, notes, and sidequests. It's incredible to see such passion bringing a more complete version of a game, even one that had its flaws, back to life for modern PCs. I'm genuinely looking forward to experiencing Downpour as it might have been, and hopefully, it gives a new appreciation for its more unique elements when it's expected around September or October.
