The player, Chris Livingston, attempts to solve crimes with all the finesse of David Caruso delivering his poorly crafted one-liners. As he hilariously bungles his way through cases—from nuking evidence to failing dramatically at lifting fingerprints—it makes me appreciate the complexity of forensic work and the true skills required. Honestly, it’s comforting to know that even in a simulated world, the struggle is real. I had a good laugh at his misadventures, and it certainly makes me think twice about the portrayal of detectives in TV shows. While I don’t think I’d make a good crime scene investigator, I definitely enjoyed watching someone else try!
