This was supposed to be a 'super big team battle' experience, drawing inspiration from Warzone, developed by Certain Affinity. Reports suggest it got scrapped because staff were pulled to work on the upcoming 'Campaign Evolved' single-player project. Honestly, after how Halo Infinite's multiplayer turned out, I was really hoping for a fresh take, so this is pretty disappointing, especially with a new Xbox on the horizon.
