Hey everyone, just saw some wild stats about Steam's future that are both hilarious and slightly terrifying for our gaming habits. Apparently, the number of new games hitting Steam has absolutely exploded, and by 2027-2028, more than half of all new releases are expected to come with an AI disclosure. The truly ironic part? This massive surge of AI-flagged titles rarely makes any money, gets abysmal reviews, or often isn't even reviewed at all! So, basically, we're looking at a future where our Steam queues will be flooded with AI-generated "masterpieces" that no one wants to play.
