Star Wars Zero Company: A Linear Adventure Awaits
0
I just read about Star Wars Zero Company, and I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s great to see Bit Reactor focusing on a strong narrative and character-driven gameplay, which could lead to some epic moments in the Star Wars universe. But the confirmation that the story will be strictly linear is a bit of a bummer for me. I’ve always loved the freedom that comes with RPGs, especially when you can influence the story or develop relationships with characters.
While the cutscenes and tactical gameplay sound promising, I can’t help but feel that the lack of branching paths could limit replayability. I'm really curious about how they’ll handle the permadeath mechanics—if they can weave that into the story effectively, it might just change my mind. Overall, I'm cautiously optimistic but hoping they can deliver a memorable experience regardless of the straightforward narrative.
