MindsEye Gets Major Update, But Does Anyone Care?

Looks like MindsEye, the open-world shooter from Build a Rocket Boy, just received a substantial Update 8 despite its troubled history and low player count. The biggest addition is a new team-based multiplayer mode called "grenade football," which sounds like a chaotic twist on Rocket League without the cars. Beyond that, the update also brings new racing circuits, social features, and some much-needed improvements to the core single-player experience, addressing AI, physics, and vehicle handling. Honestly, while the multiplayer seems a bit desperate given the game's current engagement, I'm cautiously intrigued by the single-player refinements. It's a shame about the developer's ongoing controversies and layoffs, but if they can genuinely make the campaign decent, it might be worth a look down the line.
