I'm really intrigued by the upcoming game, The Defiant, which aims to bring to life a part of World War II that hasn't been explored much in gaming. Focusing on China’s War of Resistance against Japan, it promises a rich narrative experience through the eyes of multiple soldiers. As much as I appreciate modern shooters, I miss the depth of story-driven gameplay from the earlier days, and this game seems to be reviving that spirit with a 15-hour campaign! The combat mechanics and diverse playstyles sound exciting, but I hope they refine the gameplay and mobility before launch. Is anyone else as eager as I am to experience this unique perspective on such a key historical conflict?
