Brace Yourselves: GPU Prices Are Rising
0
Heads up, fellow gamers and PC builders! Some unfortunate news is circulating regarding graphics card prices. It seems AMD is reportedly planning to increase the supply price of its GPU and VRAM bundles by at least 10%, following a similar, more significant move by Nvidia recently. The core reason appears to be the immense demand for components like memory and GPUs driven by the AI boom, which is leading to a significant memory crisis. What this means for us is that retail GPU prices are very likely to go up across the board, making new builds even more expensive. It’s truly disappointing, as we just started seeing some stability, and now it looks like things might get tougher for the foreseeable future, potentially lasting for years. This certainly isn't what anyone wanted to hear.
