Alistair McFarlane, the absolute legend who was basically the public face of Rust and its COO, has officially left Facepunch Studios after 11 incredible years. This guy was a total character, remember when he offered to buy New World or even teased us all about Rust 2? He's leaving at a time when Rust is absolutely THRIVING, hitting some of its highest player counts ever right now! It’s definitely bittersweet to see him go, but what a monumental legacy he’s left – he truly helped build Rust into the behemoth it is today! I'm so hyped to see what his next adventure is and how the brilliant Facepunch team keeps pushing Rust forward. What a ride!
