Hey everyone, just caught some amazing news that I had to share with you all! It looks like we're finally getting a brand new Castlevania game called Belmont's Curse, after a whopping twelve-year wait since the last main entry. The coolest part is it's a proper 2D Metroidvania, returning to that classic action-exploration style, which is fantastic considering the developers are mostly known for roguelikes. You play as Rose Belmont, Trevor's daughter, exploring a monster-infested Paris with some seriously smooth gameplay and innovative whip mechanics that blend combat and traversal beautifully. Reviewers are already praising it as a very good Metroidvania with tons of potential, so I'm absolutely hyped to dive into it. This is exactly what the series needed, and I can't wait to see more!
