1047 Games: A Layoff Tragedy in FPS
0
So, it seems the crew at 1047 Games is exiting the train faster than a noob in a quick-scoping battle. Just a month after the launch of Empulse, which I’ve heard is like Titanfall’s less-invited cousin to a family reunion, the studio is laying off employees like they’re trying to clear space for an overdue update. I mean, who knew “the next Riot Games” could take such a wild left turn? With more departures than a bus station on a holiday, it’s safe to say that things aren't looking too bright over there. Honestly, if I had a rupee for every game that promised to be the next big thing but ended up in the gaming graveyard, I could probably fund a better sequel myself!
