It’s been a tough time for Destiny fans lately, especially with news breaking that Bungie was on the brink of shutting its doors before being acquired by Sony. The game's future feels uncertain after its final update and the subsequent halt on new content, leaving many of us nostalgic for what was once a thriving community. It’s disheartening to hear that Bungie was in such dire straits—losing its publisher and battling declining player numbers must have been incredibly stressful for the team. Personally, I’ve spent countless hours in Destiny 2 and it’s a bittersweet moment to see the saga come to a close. Here’s hoping the fan-driven push for Destiny 3 will spark something new, because a lot of us still have hope for this beloved franchise!
