Sim Racing vs Arcade Racers: What Happened?
0
Yaar, it's kinda sad to see how the sim racing scene has taken over while our beloved arcade racers are basically fading away. I remember the good old days when we used to have games like Need for Speed and Burnout, where you could just hop in and blast through tracks without getting lost in the high-tech setups. Now, it seems like sim racing needs you to drop a ton of cash just to get a taste of that experience. Sure, it's cool that motorsport is becoming more accessible through platforms like F1 on Netflix, but I miss that simpler time when racing games were just about fun and not about spending a fortune. Honestly, maybe I'll just dust off my old Gran Turismo instead of diving into the sim world. What do you guys think?
