Fast & Furious 11: Production Not Yet Underway Despite Diesel’s Video

So, it looks like the excitement surrounding Fast & Furious 11 might be a bit premature! Last week, Vin Diesel dropped a video on social media that had fans buzzing. In the clip, Diesel, sporting his familiar Dominic Toretto look and standing next to the legendary black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, seemed to suggest that production for the new movie, officially titled Fast Forever, was finally kicking off.

In his heartfelt message, Diesel expressed gratitude to fans for their unwavering patience with the franchise. He said, “I’m on set. People are grinding. Incredible crews are working. I wanted to take a second to say thank you. You guys are the best audience in the world; best fans in the world.” He added that they’ve been working hard for more than three years to make this finale unforgettable.

However, hold your horses! Over the weekend, reports surfaced indicating that the filming Diesel referred to was actually linked to a promotional spot for the World Cup that aired during a match between the US and Belgium. It’s not the start of production fans were hoping for.

As for Fast Forever, this long-awaited installment is slated for release on March 17, 2028. Universal Studios officially announced the title and release date earlier this year, but details about the cast and the storyline remain under wraps. Looks like we’ll have to stay tuned for more updates!
