Inde Navarrette is making waves on social media after an unexpected gift from a fan left her completely stunned. The star of Obsession, who has been turning heads for her gaming skills, recently received a sealed copy of Modern Warfare 2, and her reaction is pure gold!
Fans have taken a keen interest in Navarrette, especially after learning she’s a die-hard gamer with her own Twitch channel. Clips of her streaming sessions have gone viral, winning her lots of love from the gaming community. During the recent Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center in New York, she was part of a panel discussing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 alongside NBA star Kevin Durant. As she was leaving the venue, a fan approached her with a rare sealed copy of the 2009 Modern Warfare 2, still in its original display case. While browsing online marketplaces like eBay, it’s clear that sealed copies of this classic are commanding ridiculous prices, with some listings reaching as high as $20,000. But Navarrette wasn’t interested in selling; she hugged the game tightly and declared, “I’m not selling this one!” When asked where she planned to keep it, she sweetly replied, “In my house. In my room.”
Inde Navarrette has a rich history with gaming. In an interview with GQ, she shared that her gaming journey began on the PlayStation 2, where she played Shrek games with her family. Over time, she transitioned to shooters like Call of Duty and Halo, and later dived into narrative-driven titles such as Red Dead Redemption and The Last of Us, the latter of which she streamed on Twitch to support herself after filming Obsession.
“If I’m not working on a show and I love playing video games, why not stream?” she said. The joy she finds in gaming is evident, and it’s no surprise that her popularity is on the rise. Following the success of Obsession, she has even hinted at a possible future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after meeting with Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier.
