While I had my heart set on more flamboyant designs reflecting the Splatoon vibe, these Joy-Cons still have their charm. Instead of the traditional colors, we have playful dollops of blue and light yellow that mimic the unique hairstyles of Deep Cut’s Shiver and Frye. It’s not the most thrilling design, but hey, at least there’s some variety for fans looking to switch things up from the standard Joy-Cons.
