Coyote vs. Acme to Hit Blu-ray with Hilarious NSFW John Cena Outtakes!
The excitement is building for the upcoming Blu-ray release of *Coyote vs. Acme*! Director Dave Green has confirmed that this animated film will not only hit home media shelves but will also feature some uproarious outtakes starring none other than John Cena, which he warns are “not PG-rated.” We caught up with Green and the film’s star, Lana Condor, at San Diego Comic-Con, where they couldn’t stop laughing about the fun times behind the scenes, especially with Cena and Will Forte interacting with the beloved Looney Tunes characters.
“John is an incredible improviser,” Green shared. “He just loves to keep the camera rolling, entertaining everyone around him. When you don’t say ‘cut,’ you end up with loads of hilarious moments that definitely aren’t for kids.” When asked if these outtakes would make it to the Blu-ray, Green confirmed, “I can promise you that they’ll be included!”
In a world where physical media is slowly fading away in favor of digital downloads, owning a hard copy of a film has become a treasure. Take Sony’s recent announcement, for instance, that they will cease physical game disc production starting January 2028, which has left the gaming community on edge as everyone races to grab the last physical PlayStation titles.
While some major titles are still getting full physical releases, others like the eagerly awaited *GTA 6* will only be available digitally—though you might get a nice box for your purchase!
*Coyote vs. Acme* is set to hit theaters on August 28, 2026, after being previously shelved by Warner Bros. Discovery in 2023 for a hefty tax write-off. Fans can finally look forward to enjoying the film in its full glory, complete with some cheeky R-rated bonus content on the Blu-ray!
