Gaming with Hot Dogs? A Wild World of Warcraft Adventure!

Ever thought about mixing your gaming passion with a snack? Well, one gamer took that idea to a whole new level by using hot dogs as controllers in World of Warcraft! Sounds wild, right? But if someone can level up using dance mats, then why not play WoW with wieners? Enter Addison2k, who decided to embark on a meat-themed mythic keystone run that left everyone questioning the limits of gaming.

So, how does it work? Addison2k created 3D-printed controllers with four hot dogs stuck in each one, all wired up for touch input. He uses one to move his character while the other manages his abilities. Surprisingly, it’s somewhat playable—at least for his retribution paladin. However, “playable” doesn’t mean it’s the best experience. For starters, he can’t even move the camera! “It’s really hard to dodge,” he confessed while being carried through the dungeon. And walking backwards? Yeah, that’s just part of the deal.

The struggle gets real when he couldn’t switch targets effectively. “My target got stuck to a dead mob and I don’t have tab bound to a hot dog,” he explained, forced to resort to the keyboard for that one crucial keypress. But his teammates didn’t seem to mind having a hot dog-wielding paladin on their side, even if he couldn’t cast a simple lay on hands. They just had a good laugh, teasing him to use his tongue instead of his hands on those glizzies. “I’m not gonna lick the hot dogs,” Addison2k shot back, “that’s insane. Plus, they’re kind of warm now—makes it weird.”

Despite the challenges, the run ended with all the bosses down for the count, and Addison2k emerged victorious. But the true test came afterward. In his own words, “my hands smelled like hotdogs for hours.” Who knew gaming could be so fragrant? This hilarious escapade is a perfect reminder of how creative and quirky the gaming community can be!
