Lana Del Rey Dives into 007 First Light Theme: Bond Vibe Ya phir Just ‘Meh’?

And guess who’s behind the mic? None other than the queen of melancholic melodies, Lana Del Rey. Her track for the game, aptly titled “First Light,” has just made its debut, aur pura gaming aur music fraternity is buzzing. Lekin, kya yeh song Bond ki iconic legacy ko aage le ja raha hai, ya phir reh gaya hai thora peeche?
Humne bhi sun liya hai, aur frankly speaking, dil khush nahi hua. Bond theme songs ki baat hi kuch aur hoti hai, yaar. Hamare bhi kuch dosto ne isse “Lana Del Meh” ka naam diya hai, aur shayad woh theek keh rahe hain – it feels a bit dull, derivative, aur shayad jaldi bhool jaane wala.
Interesting fact: Yeh Lana Del Rey ki pehli Bond song attempt nahi hai. 2015 mein unhone apni album Honeymoon ka track “24” Spectre ke liye likha tha, lekin producers ne use reject kar diya tha. Instead, Sam Smith ka “Writing’s On the Wall” select hua, jo surprisingly Golden Globe aur Oscar bhi jeet gaya – jabke kaafi Bond fans use bhi ‘mid’ hi consider karte hain.
