Jason Voorhees Joins the Fray in Dead by Daylight!

Get ready, horror fans! The iconic slasher Jason Voorhees from the legendary Friday the 13th series is finally making his way into Dead by Daylight. This thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror game is known for its diverse roster of terrifying villains, but it’s been missing one major player for far too long. The wait is finally over as Behaviour Interactive has officially announced Jason’s arrival on June 16, and they’ve dropped an exciting new trailer to celebrate!

When Dead by Daylight first launched, Jason was already busy making his mark in his own game, Friday the 13th: The Game, developed by Illfonic and Gun Media. At that time, DBD didn’t have the extensive lineup of licensed killers we see today. Fast forward to now, and Dead by Daylight feels like a horror-themed version of Fortnite, packed with notorious figures such as Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, and even a Xenomorph!

After the unfortunate shutdown of the Jason game due to complex rights issues, the masked murderer was left homeless in the gaming world. However, he has made cameo appearances in popular titles like Call of Duty and Fortnite, hinting that his return to the horror genre was just around the corner.
