PakGamersHub (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) operates the website pakgamershub.com and the PakGamersHub mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using PakGamersHub you agree to this policy.
This policy is provided for transparency and to meet app-store requirements. It is not legal advice; for a binding policy you should have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

PakGamersHub is a community platform for gamers in Pakistan, offering forums, a marketplace/trade stream, live chat (shoutbox), user profiles, a community trade-caution list, and related features.

Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your username, email address, and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by WordPress; we never store them in plain text). You may optionally add a display name, avatar, city, gamertags (e.g. PSN/Xbox IDs), and favorite games.
Content You Create
Forum posts and threads, marketplace listings, shoutbox messages, voice notes, reviews, reputation ratings, images/attachments you upload, and trade-caution reports (including any evidence and details you submit).
Trade-Caution Reports
If you submit a report to the caution list, we collect the information you provide about the transaction and the other party, plus evidence you upload. These reports are reviewed by our moderators before they may be published, and the person named may dispute a report.
Push Notification Data
If you enable notifications, we store a push subscription (an endpoint and keys provided by your browser/device) so we can send you notifications. You can disable this at any time in app settings or your device settings.
Technical and Usage Data
Like most websites and apps, we and our service providers may automatically collect IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and similar diagnostic data. We use a self-hosted analytics/statistics component and Cloudflare (a content-delivery and security provider) which processes request data to protect and deliver the site.
Verification Data
For certain actions (such as submitting a caution report on the web), we may use a one-time email verification code.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the platform (accounts, posting, trading, chat, notifications).
- To moderate content and keep the community safe, including reviewing caution reports and handling disputes and reports of abuse.
- To send you notifications you have opted into (replies, mentions, announcements, and similar).
- To send service emails (e.g. account, moderation outcomes) and, to administrators, operational alerts (e.g. content awaiting review).
- To protect the platform against spam, fraud, and abuse.
Legal Basis and Consent
We process your information to provide the service you request, to pursue our legitimate interest in operating a safe community, and, where applicable, with your consent (for example, push notifications). You may withdraw consent for notifications at any time.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared in these limited ways:
Publicly, by Your Choice
Content you post (forum posts, listings, public profile fields, approved caution reports) is visible to other users and visitors. Approved caution reports display the information necessary to warn the community (such as the reported name/alias, city, platform, and a masked phone number); we do not publish the reporter’s identity or private evidence.
Service Providers
Hosting (Bluehost), CDN/security (Cloudflare), email delivery (SMTP provider), and similar providers that process data on our behalf to run the platform.
Third-Party Content Services
The platform uses third-party APIs to generate and source news content (e.g. AI text and image services) and to source images; these operate on article content, not on your personal account data.

If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or the platform.
Your Choices and Rights
Access / Update
You can edit most profile information in the app.
Delete Your Account
You can delete your account from within the app (Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account). Deleting your account removes your account and associated personal data, subject to limited retention described below.
Notifications
You can turn push notifications on or off in app settings or your device settings.
Caution Reports
A person named in a report may submit a dispute through the platform.
Data Retention
We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Shoutbox messages and their attachments are automatically deleted after 7 days.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data, except where we must retain certain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain the integrity of community-safety records (such as caution reports and their moderation history).
Children
PakGamersHub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Some content and interactions are intended for users 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords, access controls, moderation, and a security/CDN layer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Users
The platform is operated for users in Pakistan but may be accessed elsewhere. By using it, you understand your information may be processed on servers and by providers located in other countries.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes may be communicated within the app.
