NAB Set to Investigate Punjab’s Education Department Financial Mismanagement

The financial landscape of Punjab’s education sector is under the microscope as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) gears up to investigate alleged irregularities amounting to over Rs. 1.1 billion. This decisive move comes after the Punjab Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee-I (PAC-I) met recently to discuss troubling audit observations concerning the Higher Education Department.

During the meeting, chaired by Iftikhar Hussain Chachhar, members expressed serious concerns about the financial dealings within the department.
