Exciting Developments from Vampire Survivors Studio: New DLC and Expansion Plans!

Poncle Games, the creative minds behind the hit title Vampire Survivors, are making waves with some thrilling announcements! During the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, they revealed plans for a new chapter titled “Legacy of the Bloodmoon.” Set to drop later this summer, this expansion is being touted as an “evil twin” to the previously released “Legacy of the Moonspell” add-on, and it’s bound to add even more excitement to the game.

This new DLC is packed with goodies, featuring 10 fresh characters, 16 new weapons (and their evolutions), a massive new stage, and an array of new music tracks to groove to while you battle it out. Plus, the existing “Legacy of the Moonspell” will get some love with additional content and a price drop, making it easier for players to dive into that as well. The new patch is set to roll out first on PC via Steam, with other platforms following suit down the line.

But that’s not all! Poncle also announced the launch of a new label called “Survivaton,” which will focus on projects inspired by the Vampire Survivors universe. The name is a playful nod to “survive a ton,” and it aims to push the boundaries of gameplay with exciting new content, expansions, and genre twists. They’re even collaborating on projects like “Warhammer 40,000: Survivors,” which promises to be a unique experience!

Additionally, Poncle is expanding its reach with the opening of a new branch in Japan. This division will focus on local development efforts and forge strategic partnerships across the region, acting as a crucial link between Poncle’s global initiatives and the vibrant Japanese gaming community. Leading this charge is studio head Sawaki Takeyasu, who will be guiding these new ventures.

Since its launch a few years back, Vampire Survivors has become a phenomenal success, winning over gamers with its simple yet addictive mechanics. The game has continued to grow and evolve, welcoming new expansions and even venturing into the realms of popular franchises like Contra and Castlevania. Earlier this year, they also introduced “Vampire Crawlers,” a roguelike deckbuilder that received rave reviews from both fans and critics alike.
