CD Projekt Red’s social media lead, Marcin Lukasewski, recently shared his excitement about a brand new character from the upcoming season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and it seems many of us can relate to this one. Introducing Weak Kingsley, who brings a refreshing twist with his more mature age. Marcin took to Twitter to express how much he identifies with this character, saying, “As someone who’s just turned a bit older, Weak resonates with me a whole lot. I can’t wait for you all to meet him when the series drops!”

The reveal came during a showcase at Annecy, where fans got a glimpse of Weak through a silhouette, generating a lot of buzz. Alongside him, another character known only as D was hinted at. From the looks of it, D appears to fit right into the youthful vibe of the series with their spiky hair and lively demeanor.

What’s intriguing about Weak is how he stands out among the show’s usual teenage cast, making him an exciting addition to the narrative. Marcin cheekily mused about possibly changing his name to M to match the cool factor of characters like V and D, highlighting the fun atmosphere surrounding the series’ updates.

While specific details about the plot remain under wraps, we do know this new season promises a unique story set against the vibrant backdrop of Night City, featuring a different crew. Fans eager for more information can look forward to an official announcement on June 29, followed by a panel at Anime Expo in July.
