It’s beyond disappointing that honoring those who contributed years to the company is viewed as inappropriate. Many in the gaming community are worried about the impact on future titles, with legendary figures like Christiane Meister leaving the studio. Bethesda needs to reflect on its values if it can’t support employees in times of grief and transition—setting a tone that diminishes the sacrifices of dedicated individuals doesn’t bode well for anyone, least of all the fans looking forward to The Elder Scrolls 6.
