I just came across the news about Will Gluck cutting a ton of nudity from his romantic comedy "One Night Only," and it's got me thinking. It seems like our collective comfort with on-screen nudity is totally shifting, especially with younger audiences today. Gluck mentioned that people are getting uncomfortable in theaters with explicit scenes, and I can't help but wonder if we're becoming too sensitive around such topics. Personally, I feel like nudity, when contextually appropriate, can add depth to narratives. But maybe the way films are viewed has changed since everything is at our fingertips on streaming platforms. It makes me curious about how the film industry will adapt to these evolving sensibilities. What do you guys think? Are we losing something important in cinema with all this editing?
