Wardogs players have apparently decided that picking the Blue faction, Lonestar, is basically choosing to play the game on hard mode.<div><br></div><div>The reputation has gotten so bad that some players are actively avoiding joining Lonestar. Green and Red can be completely full while Blue still has plenty of empty slots available because nobody wants to pick them.</div><div><br></div><div>The community attitude can pretty much be summed up as:</div><div><br></div><div>“Anything but Blue.”</div><div><br></div><div>This isn't even a new joke. It apparently dates all the way back to the closed beta, when players jokingly ranked the factions like difficulty settings:</div><div><br></div><div>Green — Easy</div><div>Red — Normal</div><div>Blue — NIGHTMARE MODE</div><div><br></div><div>Some players have gone even further, calling Lonestar players “literally the dumbest people on the planet.”</div><div><br></div><div>And apparently even the developers know about Blue's reputation.</div><div><br></div><div>After Lonestar managed to pull off a win, Bulkhead co-founder Joe Brammer celebrated the achievement with:</div><div><br></div><div>“Lonestar actually did it.”</div><div><br></div><div>When even the developers sound surprised that your faction won, you know the reputation has gotten bad.</div><div><br></div><div>At this point, choosing Blue in Wardogs might be the ultimate challenge run.</div>
