There were wild rumors flying around that they were planning to merge Marathon with Destiny 2, causing quite a stir in the community. Nardin stepped in to squash those rumors, stating clearly that those leaks are just false. As someone who has a rich history with both franchises, I find it refreshing that she addressed the speculation head-on, reminding us all not to take everything we read online at face value. Personally, I'm relieved! While a crossover might sound intriguing, I believe both games have their own unique stories and identities that deserve to stand alone. What do you all think?
