Reports indicate that these significant workforce reductions have swept through Marvel’s offices in both New York and Burbank, touching nearly every corner of the company. From the creative minds behind our favourite comic books and the teams bringing TV shows and films to life, to the essential finance and legal departments – a wide spectrum of operations has been affected.

One of the most notable impacts is on Marvel’s visual development department. This team, established in 2010, has historically been the unsung hero behind the iconic look and feel of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
