Conquering the Luna Digger: A Guide for Pragmata Players

Ah, the Luna Digger! This colossal mechanical worm is easily one of the most memorable bosses you’ll face in Pragmata. You’ll run into it several times before finally facing it head-on in its den, so by the time you gear up for the showdown, you’ve got a good feel for its quirks.

Taking down this beast isn’t as simple as it seems. Unlike the humanoid robots that usually have clear weak spots, the Luna Digger has a unique playstyle that poses a challenge. Here’s how you can come out on top against this underground menace.

Before you dive into the fight, it’s wise to check your loadout. Since you’ll have limited time to deal damage and won’t encounter other foes, you don’t need to worry about area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. Weapons like the Charge Piercer, Photon Laser, and Sticky Bombs will come in handy, as well as the Homing Missile. Don’t forget to utilize hacking nodes like Heat or Drain, and ensure your Auto Hack power for Diana is upgraded.

As the battle begins, keep in mind that the Luna Digger is vulnerable only when it opens its mouth, which happens when it’s either surfacing or charging at you. This means your windows to attack are brief, so save your most powerful weaponry for these moments!

Throughout most of the fight, the Luna Digger will be lurking underground. Make the most of its brief appearances by hacking it when it erupts and aiming for its mouth. The Auto Hack feature is particularly useful here, as you won’t have time to do it manually. Sticky Bombs can accelerate the hacking process, making it easier to rack up damage.

Once you land enough hits, the creature will stagger, giving you a chance to unleash a Critical Shot for some serious damage.

When its health drops below 50%, the second phase kicks in. At this point, you can start targeting its body as well. Keep hacking and unleash your strongest weapons, like the Charge Piercer or Homing Missile. Just be cautious, as the Luna Digger will start launching missiles—look out for those red circles on the ground!

This phase also introduces mini drones that will dig towards you. You can hack these to turn them against the Luna Digger, dealing a hefty 2000 damage each. Keep up your strategy of Auto Hacking, flooding it with firepower, and look for opportunities to fire Critical Shots until the boss goes down.

Once you finally defeat the Luna Digger, you’ll earn the fourth Shelter upgrade, which unlocks even more enhancements at the Unit Printer and Firmware Updater. Plus, you’ll gain access to the Director board at the Cabin Club, which contains two Red Gate Keys. Make sure to gather as many Cabin Coins as possible for those rewards!

With these tips, you’re all set to take down the Luna Digger and progress further into the engaging world of Pragmata. Happy gaming!
