AJK Gamers Face Week-Long Internet Blackout

Big news coming in, and unfortunately, it’s not the kind our gaming community in Azad Kashmir wants to hear. Authorities have reportedly pulled the plug on internet and mobile phone services across the region, effective from 11:30 PM, with this blackout expected to continue until June 12th.

For our fellow gamers in AJK, this means your online grind, competitive matches, Discord chats, and even just browsing for the latest game news are all on an indefinite pause. Imagine a week without your favorite multiplayer titles, live streams, or those crucial game updates!

The reason behind this widespread service suspension, according to reports, is linked to planned state-wide protests. The Joint Awami Action Committee has called for these demonstrations to begin across Azad Kashmir starting June 9th, leading to the preemptive measure by authorities to suspend communication services.

We know how frustrating it can be to suddenly lose access to the digital world, especially when gaming is a major part of your daily routine and connection to friends. This situation puts a halt to all online gaming activities and makes staying connected challenging.

We at PakGamersHub stand in solidarity with our gaming brothers and sisters in AJK during this tough time. We hope for a swift and peaceful resolution to the situation so everyone can get back to their beloved games and online communities as soon as possible.
